Description

- Vintage Six Magazine, No°7 - S/S 1991
- Publisher & Director: Comme des Garçons, Ltd.
- Editor: Atsuko Kozasu
- Art Director: Tsuguya Inoue, Beans Co., Ltd.
- A 36-page publication of avant-garde photography and campaigns exploring the idea of the 'Sixth Sense' while reflecting the Spring 1991 collection
- Including conceptual works by acclaimed photographers Madame Yvonde, David Seidner and Jeurgen Teller
- Six Magazine was created in 1988 as a biannual publication by Comme des Garçons founder & designer Rei Kawakubo. It ran until 1991, coinciding with the launch of new collections as Kawakubo said "high fashion has to have a mystery about it. This is the next step: visual representation of the collection, purely for image.”

"When I have something fashionable — like Nicolas Ghesquière Balenciaga, which I spent years and years collecting, I send it to ReSee. They totally get it: they know what it is, they know the value, and they appreciate it."
